Fantastic Week!

This week was awesome! Our team took a trip to Interplex Industries where we saw engineers in action. Syd got everything done that she wanted to this week except going over the grant, which she will start Monday. Instead she was doing something for Mrs. Cantlupe. 

Selfie Monday

This week Syd, Jasen, and Kirsten are going to finish the grant by Friday. Besides that Syd is helping Jasen work on the documents for the Solar Car Challenge. She is going to get the check to send to the race. She is also going to look over the work Kirsten did on updating the documents. 

Fun Friday!

This week has been quite exciting. Jasen hasn't been here due to illness so we haven't made any progress on the grant. Ashley and Syd finished the shirt design and now are looking for places to get them made. However, Syd's main focus this week was her Trebuchet which her and Paul have been working on. It worked extremely all the way until today when it broke because of stress. 

UCF!

So Sydney is commited to UCF for college! 

This week she plans on focusing all her attention on preparing for GEER with Mrs. Cantlupe, helping Jasen and Kirsten with the grant, and working with Ashley on our shirts. There is a sneak peek of our design! 

Love is in the Air.

Happy Valentines day (almost.) Love is in the air at South Plantation. This week Syd met with Mrs. Henschel to discuss some things with the grant to help Jasen. Along with helping on the grant, she worked with Ms. Howe on some of the solar documents, and started our GEER presentation. She also met with Mrs. Cantlupe to discuss some of the GEER ideas. She answered to the best of her ability and did everything she could have possible got done without Mr. Martin here. Everything Mrs. Cantlupe wanted done on Friday was turned into her early. 

GEER Meeting

This week Syd and the other executives are going to deposit all of our checks, along with sending our check to race in. We had a meeting with magnet to discuss the GEER event. Sydney will start getting ready for this event starting this week. Along with that she is still helping Jasen work on the grant. She is also setting up outside events for the team. 

Mr. Abad

This week Mr. Abad from Bentley came to visit us with great news! They are going to re-sponsor us again this year! Syd is also working with Jasen and Ryan to have Robby Koppel Sponsor our team. Along with all that we are still working on the grant and counting money.   

Motorola Solutions Grant

This week Syd is just working on the Motorola Solutions Grant. This is her main priority. Otherwise she is waiting on Mr. Martin to go to the bookkeeper so she can deposit checks.
